Time flies! Madden is starting to get personality. He is smiling, cooing, giggling (especially in his sleep), he has such a strong little neck, he eats everything he wears, he drools like crazy and he is sleeping a minimum of 6 hours a night (which is heaven!)

Madden went in for his two month check-up, he is getting so big!

Heres how he measures up:

Head: 16"- 50 percentile

Height: 25"- 97 percentile

weight: 12 lbs. 6 oz.- 75 percentile

He also had 4 shots and took them like a champ.

So today was Maddens one month check up and he is just barely measuring up!

Height is 22 1/4 in. (75%), Weight is 9lbs. 6 oz. (25%) and his head is 15 1/4 in. (50%).

4 Weeks and Counting

I can't believe it's been 4 weeks since Madden has joined our family. He is developing more personality everyday.

He is now:

Lifting his head (and has been since day 2)

Smiling when he's sleeping and awake

Cooing (especially in the middle of the night)

Playing with his hands

Playing with his tongue

We are so blessed to have him in our lives, and can't wait to watch him grow!!

Finally, after 10 long months Madden Stryker Hansen is here. He arrived October 4, 2010 weighing in at 7lbs. 12oz. We don't know what we ever did without him!

So, it's been a long time since I have been excited about decorating...but my mom was so excited about making new decoratons that I caved. All in all I would say they turned out great!! She is so talented!!

January we celebrated Katie and Kelsi's birthday
(Katie turned the big 2-7 and Kakes the big 2-3)

February me and Luvey did our first half marathon...possibly my last and Martha turned the

big 5-0

March little baby Marques was born

May KJ and Kelsi graduated from college, Yay!! Hmm... now let's see what they will do with their Diplomas!! Me and KJ celebrated our Anniversary (3 years)

June Luvey turns the big 5-4 and Mom and Luvey celebrate their 10 year anniversary!!

July was all about Hawaii

August, the best month of all, I turned the big 2-6 now I am officially late 20's!

October KJ turned 32, wow I married an old man, and of course baby's first Halloween!

November Kimee turned 2-5 and baby had his first Thanksgiving.

December, time spent with family and friends, baking cookies, opening some presents, I love this time of the year!!

2009 was a great year, but we can't wait to see what comes our way in 2010!!

So I know it's been awhile since I have posted (thanks Katie for reminding me twice). So here goes......
So Christmas this year has been a little different usually I want a lot and I get a lot, this year we decided that with the way the economy is we would buy Christmas for a family, we had so much fun shopping and spoiling them. The mom was 17 and had custody of her little sister who was 11 and the baby boy who was 9 months I forgot how fun it was to pick out presents for people who are grateful for just the bare essentials, it really makes me grateful for what and who I am.

So since I'm on the subject of presents, I got to open my presents from KJ and my in laws and I have to say KJ knows me real well. I opened the one from his parents and it was this gross leopard bag with leather on it and KJ was telling me that his mom picked it out and he told her I loved designer purses (It was far from designer) so I opened it up and there was a giftcard for Coach for $300.00. I can't believe it they are too good to me, and then I opened KJ's present to me and he got me the second band to my wedding ring, and it is beautiful, I'm so spoiled!! Thanks guys for my gifts I LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!!!

There's a First time for everything!!

So in all the excitement of Halloween and preparing for the party I sliced my finger open, this is pretty common for me because I don't cook, so I usually just bandage it up and am on my way, but this time it bled for about 5 hours until I was forced to go to the hospital for stitches (thanks mom and KJ). When I arrived I was informed that not only would I be receiving stitches but I would also need a Tetnis shot. Right before I got my stitches my mom was telling me that there is no pain she has had them several times (she waited until during the procedure to tell me that when she received her stitches she was in the middle of surgery, so of course she didn't feel any pain). All in all she was right there wasn't much pain with the stitches, unfortunately that wasn't the case for the Tetnis shot.

Trip to Nashville

Every year our company holds a National Sales Conference, this year was expected to be different than any other year because of the economy, instead of Florida, this year we went to Nashville, it was such a great experience. Some of the highlights: We got to hear from Les Wexner who has never made an appearance to a Store Manager conference, he was such a motivational speaker, we donated sweat pants to families affected by the hurricane, we made hope chests for the children of St. Jude, We danced at the Wild Horse Saloon, we got bags full of free product, and of course it wouldn't be complete without our picture taken with a Victoria's Secret Angel.

Don't forget to come shopping this year for Christmas (or for fun) We actually have the best assortment in the history of Victoria's Secret :)

The Triathalon!!

So today was the big day! Luvey, Larry and Erica competed in the Nathan's Red Rock Triathalon, We are so proud of how well they all did. This was Larry's third and he placed number 9 overall and number 2 for his category his time was 1H17M, Luvey finished the race in 1H56M and Erica finished the race in 1H40M. We woke up nice and early to cheer them on, I was the photographer and got some great pics take a look.

So I just finished reading the third book in the Twilight series and I am hooked! So of course when I read a book I always cheat and look at the ending so I know if I want to keep reading, and sure enough after every book I had to keep reading more. I have officially decided that I am an Edward fan which I think should be obvious; but after reading comments on the series there are actually Jacob fans out there. UGH! Anyhow this was probably one of the best books I have ever read and I highly recommend to everybody!! Anyone who has read this should see who they have casted as the characters, Edward does not fit the description (but I guess thats my interpretation)!

My unspectacular quirks are...

1. I love stress, for some reason when I'm stressed I feel somewhat challenged. (It's a good thing I work retail).

2. I don't share food. My family likes to call me Joey from friends. Whenever I go out with them they always know that they wait until I am done eating before trying my food or they will order me a large order so there will be something leftover.

3.When I go shopping I usually have to buy more than one thing, I hate leaving with just one item, so if I find something I like but nothing else I usually put it back and leave.

4. I'm a perfectionist, all of my binders in my office are in alphabetical order, I rewrite things that are not written neatly, I have my closet organized from light to dark, all of my bras are put away with bra bone up and in order, I will think about what I am going to say before I leave a message and redo it if I don't like how it sounds.

5. I sleep in long pants a t shirt and at least 3 blankets (even in the summertime) because I am always cold. When I am home I will sneak to turn the fans off and the air off, but I always get caught, so now I just bundle up.

6. I hide my purchases, not as much anymore, but when I buy something I usually keep it in my car and when KJ isn't home I will put it away, I must say he is good at spotting new things, everytime I wear something new he asks when I got it (I usually tell him I 've worn it before or I am borrowing it from Kelsi). With all that being said, I must say I am getting much better with not hiding my purchases.

Okay so it's been a while since I have written anything, and well, this is why. For the past 2 months I have been running 2 stores, which means twice the amount of work. But as of the 27th I am officially running one store. This will be my store once it's remodeled, we are going from 3600 square ft. to 10500 square ft. and I can't wait. The GRAND OPENING will be July 17th, come shop!!!

The Brady Bunch

So since I am the only one who takes pictures, I thought I could elaborate on the "Brady Bunch" and describe my fam just a little bit. KJ has officially been apart of the Brady Bunch for just under 2 years and he is the computer whiz. Clint has been adopted to the family for about the same time as KJ, and he is the sports fanatic. Then there is Luvey (Larry) he is the element of fun in the family, it's never dull when Luvey is around. Let's see then there is Larry and Erica, both very similar they are the athletes in the family, any questions we go to them. Jacob as you can see is the wild and crazy one, yet at times a little reserved. Then Did (Katie), Mar, Kakes and myself who are also in the picture.Unfortunately Kim was late to dinner so I don't have a picture, but she is the stylist in the fam and can do anyone's hair in a quick second. This is our official "Brady Bunch" and I love them all!!
